Ingredients

For Fattoush

  • 1/2 green capsicum, cut into a triangular shape
  • 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red capsicum, cut into a triangular shape
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp mint leaves
  • 1/2 yellow capsicum, cut into a triangular shape
  • 1 cucumber, chopped
  • Few lettuce leaves, roughly torn
  • 1 Tomato, chopped
  • Toasted pita bread

For Dressing

  • 1 lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp sumac

Method

  1.  Cut pitta bread into small cubes and apply olive oil.
  2. Now, bake it at 180*C for 5-6 minutes.
  3. After 6 minutes, remove and keep aside.

For Dressing

  1. In a bowl, add olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, powdered sugar, garlic paste.
  2. Whisk and mix it well. Keep it aside for further use.

  1. Take a bowl and add green capsicum, yellow capsicum, red capsicum, onions, cucumber, and tomatoes.
  2. Then add chopped parsley, mint leaves, lettuce, toasted pita bread, salt to taste and prepared to dress.
  3. Toss everything well, and it is ready.
