Ingredients For Gajar Ka Halwa
- 2-3 green cardamom pods
- 2 cups winter carrots, grated
- 3 cups milk
- ¼ cups ghee
- 10-12 cashew nuts, chopped
- 10-12 almonds, chopped
- ¾ cups sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of saffron
Method
- In a heavy bottom kadhai, add ghee and heat it and now add cardamom, saffron, grated carrot, and milk and Cover it.
- Keep stirring in between and cook on low flame until it turns tender.
- Take another pan and add ghee, cashew nuts, almonds, and Kesar, sauté until golden brown.
- Add this dry fruit mixture into the kadhai and mix well.
- Now add sugar and salt and mix properly.
- Cook for 4 minutes and switch off the flame.
- Transfer it to a serving bowl.
