We all love burger, but now that we have been stuck at home for a really long time we have really learnt to show off our cooking skills? Because, who doesn’t love a burger.
Also, the crispy chicken burger is really juicy, crunchy and super delicious. It is basically a chicken patty along with some vegetables between the bread buns.
However, the best part about a burger is you may add as many flavours of sauces as you want. For instance it can be cheesy, spicy and juicy. Your burger may consist of a lot of vegetables. You may alter it however you please.
Here is the crispy chicken burger recipe is presented for you.
Collect These Ingredients
For Sauteed Veggies
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 inch Ginger – chopped
- 2 fresh Green Chillies – chopped
- Coriander Stems, chopped – 1 tbsp
- 1 medium Carrot – chopped
- Salt to taste
- Water
For Chicken Burger Patty
- 1 cup Chicken Mince
- 1 tsp Mayonnaise
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
- ⅓ cup Sauteed Veggies
- ½ tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tbsp fresh Bread Crumbs
- Oil for frying
For Filling
- 1 cup Cheese – grated
- 2 fresh green/red chillies – chopped
- ¼ tsp Dried Oregano
- ½ tsp fresh Bread Crumbs
For Coating
- Water
- Fresh Bread Crumbs
For Relish
- 1 medium Red Bell Pepper – julienned
- 1 medium Yellow Bell Pepper – julienned
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
- Water
- 1 tbsp Mustard Sauce
- 1 tsp Honey
- Grilled Onions
- Mayonnaise
- 2 Cheese Slices
For Grilled Onion
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 medium Onion – cut in thick slices
- Salt to taste
- A pinch Black Pepper Powder
Other Ingredients
- 2 Burger Buns
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- Tomato, sliced – 1 medium
- 1 medium Cucumber – sliced
- A few Iceberg lettuce Leaves
Preparation Of Chicken Burger At Home
For Sauteed Veggies
- Take a pan and then heat oil in it.
- Once the oil is hot, add ginger, green chillies, coriander stem and saute’ for half a minute and then add the carrot.
- Now saute them for a minute or two on a medium flame and then add salt, water and mix it properly.
- Cover the pan for few minutes and let it cook
- Switch off the flame and keep it aside to cool down.
For Filling
- Meanwhile in a mixing bowl, add cheese, green/red chillies, dried oregano, bread crumbs, mix everything well, and keep aside.
For Chicken Burger Patty
- Take a bowl and add chicken mince, mayonnaise and then mix it properly until well combined.
- Now add salt, black pepper powder, sauteed veggies, dried oregano, and fresh bread crumbs and mix well.
- Next, apply some water on your hands, take a portion of the mixture, spread it a little in your hand, and then add a generous amount of filling in the centre and then give it a patty shape.
- Then roll it in the bread crumbs, and keep aside.
- Take a pan, add some oil and allow it to heat on medium heat,
- Now place the patties in the hot oil and shallow fry them until golden brown in colour and crispy in texture.
For Relish
- In a hot pan, add red and yellow bell peppers, salt, black pepper powder and saute for about half a minute.
- In addition, add mustard sauce, honey and mix everything well.
- Continue cooking for about 1-2 minutes.
- Next, remove it and then keep it aside for further use.
For Grilled Onion
- In a pan, heat butter, add sliced onions, and charr on high flame for a minute or two from both sides.
- Then remove it and sprinkle some salt, black pepper powder and keep aside for further use.
- Next, in the same pan, heat both the burger buns’ halves until golden and crispy.
For Assembling the Chicken Burger
- Fisrtly, put some mayonnaise on the toasted buns, and then place sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and some lettuce leaves on the bottom part of the bun.
- After that place the chicken patty, then add some relish, grilled onions, more mayonnaise, cheese slices, and the top of the buns.
- Finally, secure it with a wooden skewer or a toothpick.
